harvest was in tf2 before halloween but it wasnt activated for servers

more like 800-2000. halloween really brought player counts up.

However you could actually acquire it for your server beforehand if you extracted it from the GCF

Actually I might just do so
My brothers aren't around to complain about the noise so I'll just hook up the older server computer to my router directly.

I've gotten awesome with the hunstman.
I constantly headshot invsible spies I bump into, they try to run but since I can guess where
they are going I can shoot him.

Also 800/1000 killed for Kill Everyone You Meet achieve.
