I got forgeted over with the third gen nano. The damn thing started crashing about 9 months after I got it. Buttons stopped working and screen began going goofy. I got a Zune HD today at Best Buy and it's my birthday present and does 10x more than the iPod C:

longer: the zune HD is nice, but you can't compare it a 2-3 year old ipod nano.... the zuneHD however is very comparable to 3rdgen ipod touch.

Don't cry about third party hacks not working when a new version comes out. I bet Microsoft fixes codes to block hacks and plugins they dont like....
