Found PSP

So I found my PSP that I got like four-to-five years ago. However it has 3.95 firmware which Im pretty sure cant run homebrew games. Is there anyway I can downgrade this without ripping my battery apart?

In settings, there is a place where you can upgrade your Firmware.
Its 6.11 or 6.10 now I'm not sure. It shouldn't really matter anyways to be honest.

I'm pretty sure there is a way to hook up your PSP to your computer and flash it.
Check it up online.
