Incessant Lag

I suffer massive lag spikes while playing Gang Garrison 2; is it because of the servers, or my computer? I don't think it's my computer, because this recently starting happening.

It was made with game maker, so it likes to rape internet.
Probably the servers. Me and my friends were at one of their houses and he has like 2MB/s internet, and it was laggy as forget when we all tried playing at once.

Are you sure it was 2MB? It might have been 2Mb, which is actually kind of bad.

He has nice internet, I tend to DL at like 1.5MB/s is what I mean.
Not 2 megabit internet, which I believe sucks.
