Google \/\/ave - The start of web 3.0.

What is wave? - Wave is Google's next gen social network which the user can use various extension within the chat.

When will it come out? - About the same time Google Chrome OS will come out.

What to do? - For those who ACTUALLY have an account, please use the -user-[at]googlewave[dot]com format. There you can get a friend to actually chat and interact with the software with.

The new invite info -

We have a long list of people who have either signed up for an invitation to Google Wave, or who have been nominated by a friend to get a Google Wave account. Unfortunately, we aren't able to pass out invites as fast as the nomination list has grown, so we're not currently adding more people to our waiting list.

As soon as we're confident that the system can accept more users, we will add a wave to your account that allows you to nominate friends and colleagues for an account. Once you have the capability to invite people, the wave appear in your inbox.

Once I get the wave, I will quote SOME people into a invite list. If you want, reserve your space for an invite!

On the chrome line of software, yes. It is aimed for netbooks and, its UN*X.

Expect Chrome OS to come out in the middle of 2010.

Incorrect.  It's based upon Linux.  I think you were trying to type *nix, which basically means Linux or Unix.
