Author Topic: I got a Atari 2600 today.  (Read 1961 times)

Quite expensive for a old console
Well, I found a diffrent 2600 on ebay that cost $80 so I thought that buying one at a store for $40 would be better than buying one off of the internet for $80.

I got it at a video game store and I got 4 games.Radiers of the lost ark,Pacman,Football, and Space Invaders. My dad hooked it up and it works. But I can't play on it till Christmas.

Tell your parents they are doing Christmas wrong. I hated how everyone I knew when I was little just wrote down what they wanted or actually went shopping with their parents and bought it all but couldn't open it til Christmas, jeez what fun!

On-topic: I hate atari, it's fun didn't age as well as NES or SNES.

My mom has an old Commodore 64 in the garage. Dunno if it will hook up to modern TVs.

Damn, Raiders of the Lost Ark was hard as stuff.
I hope you have a second player, a good eye, a smart mind, and a hell of a lot of patience.

Yeah. AVGN did a review on it. It's that bad.

Mr bother got some really old Atari (I forgot which one) for 5$. Yes. It was from a church that was selling old donated stuff, I guess they didn't realize there were people out their who would pay like, 200$ for it.

Lol worst game console ever next to the Virtual boy. Had no games, my mom had one years ago, I got to play it a few times and it was stuffty.

Nostalgic =/= Good. Not to mention, a large majority of us weren't even around during the age of the Atari.
