Author Topic: 1 vs all hunting DM  (Read 1618 times)

So the idea is everyone in the server hunting on 1-5 people (This changes when more people join and there are to many people to hunt on 1 person. Probarbly 1 against 3.), the hunted people  have faster speed and better weapons. When someone kills a pray he becomes the pray.

I tried doing one of these where the objective was to kill the 'hunter' who had better weapons. People got confused about the objective and just deathmatched with each other even though they got no points for it.

I had an idea like this.

1 person is the hunted
Everyone else are the hunters

The hunted is cloaked except when they attack. They have a slow reload, 2-shot-kill weapon and a 1-hit-kill melee weapon. They are faster, can jump higher, and can possibly climb walls.

The hunters are decked out with chain guns, grenades, etc. They are normal playertypes with a bit smaller of a jump.

The goal of the hunters are to take out the hunted.

So... Is anyone going to do it? (AKA Can SpaceGuy do it?)

It would be like a regular TDM, except there is only 1 guy on one team and everyone else on the other. If the Hunted wins, he scores a point for himself and continues to be the Hunted. If the Hunters win, 1 player is randomly selected from the team and becomes the Hunted. Host choose what weapons the Hunters/Hunted have.

Sounds like Juggernaut.

Sounds like Manhunt, where one person is chased by everyone else. It's basically hide and seek in reverse.

And finally, just to sum up what I'm saying,"Do abilities beat teamwork? ". Can a single player with increased agility and damage beat a team of players with less damage and agility, but power in numbers?
