Author Topic: How did you get your name?  (Read 8915 times)

My original name, SirMikealot is from when my sister made me a neopets account when I was in third grade or so. Liked the name and kept it even after I stopped wasting time on Neopets.

TheMike was just a generic name, got the idea of The[name] from TheGeek.

Hermes was just taken from mythology lol.

-Mike- was just my name in real life, I have the dashes around it because "Mike" was taken.

lolMike was just a random name I used to have in another community.

Dogmancer was a name I thought was pretty cool. I CONTROL DOGS

Mr. Blue Pen is from when I had a blue pen I loved and cherished, I called her Mr. Blue Pen
DoktorBlupin is another name I sometimes use for names. Its also my name on facepunch lol

Toadmeister was just a random name I thought of a second ago, and I'm using it in Subvein :D

Peaceful War - sounded kinda awesome but got bored of it
Stratofortress - After my favorite plane
President of Halo Town - This guy joined my server and my friend banned him for it.

My original name, LittleMetalRobot was when I was playing Robot Arena 2 and made a small box robot with a rotating saw on the bottom. I named it LittleMetalRobot and beat almost every robot out there, a few times I did have to reset, but it did work pretty good.

I soon discovered RTB when it was in v1 back in Vanilla Blockland, and the name was too long. I decided to do LittleRobot to shorten it out, and soon enough I got used to it.

In 2004, I realized how short I was, and made the name "shorter". (Literally). So then I made it LilRobot and was nicknamed that at school too :o

helo there colten i am snot

Metroid was my favorite series at the time I made my first ever forum account (Nintendo NSider in 2004ish) and having just bought and enjoyed Metriod Fusion several times, I decided to use the name of one of the bosses, Serris. Unfortunately, in my young and misinformed mind I misspelled the name as Sirrus. I've stuck with it ever since.

My steam name, Vertazontal, is simply a conglomerate of vertical and horizontal. It's also one of the few unique internet names without numbers in it. Seriously. Google the name and you get 3 pages of Google results, and almost all of them are forums, steam related stuff, or server logs.

I don't really care about all that much.
Hence the name.

General Nick - My name is Nick and I was an avid CnC fan at the time of registering, then it kind of just stuck.

Nickelob Ultra - Taken from an IRL nickname that my friend gave me.

Wanted to be Block on the forums, but the name was already taken.

So i just came up with a 2nd part,my name is not capitalized, I want to fix.

I didn't want to use my name for once.

Also, I was thinking of the last name McGee, and laughed a little.

I've used the name "Zen" as my alias for anything I do online. When I first started using it, I had no idea what it meant. I simply liked that it was a "Z name".

Apparently, though, someone else on Blockland is named Zen, so I threw in a nonsensical suffix.

Thorax. I dropped the "E" on it because I forgot it when I used it for the first time.

My gamer tag is HandheldToast. I got this from the random name generator as Thorax was already taken. It was either HandheldToast or StoneGolem, and I thought, "Isn't toast always handheld?"

In RuneScape, I used the name Index101. I wanted to be known for my knowledge of the game and such, so I named myself that. Turns out, I didn't learn much, so it was pointless.

Also, back when I first started using usernames, the name I would go by was "Egg4Hire". Not sure why, but I did.

Well, as a kid I grew up playing Mario games. I just loved the little cute turtles, so I would try not to kill them.

Secondary name is BobbyJamers. I was literally reading Calvin And Hobbes on the toilet and it just came to me.
