Maybe it could be two different bricks, I think this was mentioned before, but the "glass" part would be really offset, like in the following "diagram".

As you can see, red = the frame, and blue = the glass.

That would be ugly, offsetting it like that.

That would involve placing a brick inside a brick, I believe.
You can make it possible to place inside the other one

It could be two different bricks. The frame automatically plants the pane, and when either of them are destroyed, both are destroyed. And have the frame not load the pane if the bricks were loaded and not planted.
It should force you to spawn the plane when you spawn the frame. But there should only be one brick in the brick category available
