Best Pokemon Game?

What is your favorite Pokemon game? Mine is Ruby and Sapphire, mainly it is the first/earliest Pokemon game I've ever played, and the first I've ever owned (I beat it at 5) Also, I've never played Emerald, which is supposedly the same thing. I cant talk about Pokemon anymore, it makes me sad, so start voting!

Yeah I still have Crystal for my GBC, I have a bunch of pokemons traded from blue on it. It's probably my favourite cause of the 16 badges and stuff.

Red and Blue would be my all-time favorites, just so many memories playing them. Second would be Gold/Silver, which makes me want a DS so I can play the remake.

What is the point of having red and blue separate from yellow? They are nearly the same game, yellow having a slight change. Same goes for Rub sapphire and emerald... the DS games i can understand though, cause that had the whole other dimension thingy
