Inverted is probably going to get banned one day for being a insane atheist. Lay off of them Christian peeps.

Yeah, and the same for the radical Christians (did I use that word right?) who think that they are the ones who are right and everybody should adapt.  The same for both groups.

also, why is it stupid to assume that some one that believes that life is devoid of meaning and shouldn't do anything and be depressed shouldn't lead anybody to assume some sort of stereotypical emo?

Because it wasn't "emo" at all, it was simply him pointing out everything is useless.

That sentence doesn't contradict itself, does it?

I'm not even saying it's dumb. I just don't see how people can believe there's some guy up in the sky waiting for dead people to join him.

Congratulations, you learnt that Santa Claus isn't real.
yipee

He is real, just like Santa and the Easter bunny.

1st part. Fundamentalists, same diff. though.
2nd part: In the course of ranting, I forgot to throw in the "it will lead to..."

I'm not even saying it's dumb. I just don't see how people can believe there's some guy up in the sky waiting for dead people to join him.

That's where you're wrong.  "Up in the sky?"  I hate to say it, but with all due respect that is one of the most ignorant comments I've heard.  And then "waiting for dead people to join him" doesn't help your case either.  I mean, you're awesome and all, but you aren't quite sure what the beliefs truly are of 'us' if you will.

I, for one, believe in the soul being separate from the body, not the mind.  And 'heaven' isn't just a religious term, as described as "any place of complete bliss and delight and peace."  So there, it isn't a place that is tangible or see-able, but it is truly all around you.

And those are my beliefs.

seeing as how the "soul" has never been proven to exist, most people don't even bother throwing that into an argument, don't do so now.

Do computers have souls? Brains are really complex computers. Mind boggling complex.

Well, it was rather ignorant. I simply believe that there is no soul, there is just the mind. The mind creates the soul for answers, the soul is just something imagined to create answers. It's like the internet in a way.

I like that much better.

It's like the internet in a way.
WELL WHY DIDNT I THINK OF THAT
because its dumb and youre dumb.

Did you completely miss the part about that being my beliefs?  I don't need proof, I have faith; and it hasn't been disproved yet, so I have no reason not to believe it.

I don't like to think of it as a computer, because once more I turn to the dictionary, and a computer is: A computer is a machine that manipulates data according to a set of instructions.  People have feelings, computers do not.

There you go.  Also, none of that was meant as an insult, if you took it as one.

because its dumb and youre dumb.

Oooh, ouch. I make a simple relation and I get insulted. I'm butthurt.
