Suggestion for Blockland Forum: Introduction Board

Most forum's have introduction forums. We don't want people calling newbies calling people a bitch or cigarette or all that stuff. So we give newbies time to introduce themselves. And after their account has been activated, they get directed automaticly to the Introduction Board. Good idea?

A separate board? It could be a forum in the Off Topic board though, rather than being in General Discussion

If it were a board, then it would need forums like 'Introduce Yourself' and 'Leaving' or whatever is good for a Introduction board, but that would seem stupid (Seeing as people get banned for goodbye posts, thus only leaving the 'Introduce Yourself' forum), an Introduction forum would seem better

Do you take all criticism to be negative? I was supporting the idea.
Apparently you're oblivious to the several "I'm new" topics in General Discussion.
By making an introduction board, all those topics wouldn't be in General Discussion now would they?

You're thinking of categories.

Board = Forum
Category = Category and just Category

These are definite meanings as told by SMF and not just vocabulary created by the community.
