What we really need is a sheild. Space Guy's sword/sheild is alright, but it doesn't really get the job done. I'm thinking full-body cover, swat-like sheild.

I'd really like that. A shield that actually serves a purpose. Could we also make it so that if an explosive projectile hits it (i.e. Rocket Launcher rocket), it wouldn't explode? OH! Could we somehow link the deflector to the shield, but with no emitter, so that they wouldn't explode? That'd be awsome!

Dude, I wouldn't be asking for weapons for a sword if I didn't think that. The spear won't be as good either because it's not roman. I want a pila (Roman throwing spear that can't take out shields.)

Let me ask you something, do you think I'm going to use this with modern warfare stuff? Because I'm not going to. This is Ancient warfare! I might use this for a new RPG I might try with Ancient Rome.

This website has some cool Lego-type weapon designs, they make some Roman/Centurion styled things which would make pretty awesome Blockland weapons.

Who's seen Chao's private Shield mod in his Medieval RP? You click the shield to arm yourself with it, and then freely scroll through your weapons with the shield still hanging out. Click the shield again to put it away. :D. It would be good for the shield. All I think that would be made is the Shield and spear.

Also, use the Iron or silver Gladius too.

I would like you Space Guy, to work on this because you already know the shield script, so it would make less work for you than for someone else.

Effects of the shield:

1) If it gets hit by another pila, it breaks through the shield can it is dropped.

2) Left click to equip, right click to change the position of the shield from the front to the left to the right and then to over your head to back in front of you.

3) When not equipped, it is on your back, protecting your back.

4) It deflects 9/10 arrows and blocks 6/10 sword hits.

5) and of course, a Roman Design.

If you don't want to do this Space Guy, I'm not going to force you, but I would show this is a great idea if you or someother good mod maker did it.

P.S. Make sure you read the additional request in this topic on Greek and Macedonian kit too. I did research on the Romans, and they used the Greek phalanx for sometime, so I want this included too.

This is a good topic. People really do want this mod and I think someone should make it. I would do it if I had the modeling program and Tourqe which I don't know where to get the modeling program and I don't know if I can afford Tourqe.
