Alright then. Although this idea is rather innovative, to say the least, I still find it immature that a leader would blatantly say "point the finger at the co-leader" for something his whole clan failed to do. I do see that you said this competition "wasn't your responsibility to maintain," even so, if I saw one of my co-leaders' competitions like your build-off failing, you're damn right I'm going to step in and help.
My point here is that having a complete "democratic clan" probably wouldn't be as good as combining rules and morals from both "traditional" and "democratic" clans. However, I do know this will probably not convince you to do anything since your clan is doing well right now, this is merely, as said before, my take on things.
