I don't base it entirely on reviews. I have seen videos of it and read about it. The game:
- Requires subscribing for 3/4 the game's features, yet you have to pay like $50 for the game itself
- Is an FPS whore; you'd need a gaming computer to play it
- Is more focused on multiplayer gameplay instead of the game's whole concept.

It's practically better than Simcity 4. Yeah, I said it. Simcity 4 is now 2nd in line when it comes to the best city simulator.
Singleplayer is actually fun. You know you don't HAVE to play online. You can live offline just like in SC4.
Memleak problem. Developers aren't perfect, but they'll fix it regardless.
Again, don't have to play multiplayer and isn't focused mainly on multiplayer.

Not necessarily. Although you can build cities in Black and White 2/BotG you'll eventually win, move on to the next land and start over. That or you just build a big ass army of 300, 500 or 800 and go Spartan on their asses (Especially in BotG when you have like 10 blacksmiths).
