Author Topic: A School Project made in Blockland!  (Read 3645 times)

I just got assigned a school project in Spanish today, where we pair up with a partner and build (or draw) a house like they would in Latin America, I asked my teacher if we could build it in a virtual building tool (Blockland a-course) take screenshots, and bring it in a flashdrive, she responded "Sure, why not."
I was somewhat excited to do a school project regarding Blockland  :cookieMonster:

First...I've done something like this before. :D
I made an A+, and before that, my teacher had only ever given one other 100 on a project or essay.
It was a book report, and the book I chose was Brian Jacques' "Loamhedge". C:post!

I've done this before, too. It's always fun :D

my computer fair project is blockland.

I made a model of the human digestive system using events for biology... lost it in a crash though...

I built the Colosseum for a Latin class on Blockland, it was like 4 or 5 years ago though so all I had was the vanilla Blockland so it wasn't very easy.

About four years ago I was tasked with designing a booth for a medieval fair that my history class was hosting in High School. I had decided on featuring the topic of castle design for my team's booth and took a leadership role. While my other team mates designed the booth's wall (resembling a castle) I made use of Beta Blockland to create a virtual castle which was completed thanks to the help of ScatteredSpace. Since the visitors of the fair were younger classes, my booth degenerated into more of a deathmatch within the castle (I had several computers networked within the booth for this to occur).

Though it was laggy due to the sheer amount of bricks required to make a quality castle of great size, the booth was a success and my team was graded a B+ for our work.

I've never had the chance to do this :(

I'm here for ya, man.

I'm building a great castle right now. Or is ot a fort... Anyways, I hope to get it finisged by the end of December.

I did this, once, back in 8th grade, except I actually got to do a report on Blockland.

I hope that one day, I get to build something for a project at school. :(

I did this for a report of "My Side of The Mountian" and made a comic book thing.

Ive done this multiple times, my most recent was a Medieval Style Castle/Village. The theme consisted of ducks because it's funny and easy to build and incorporate into a Lego style project. So far it's brought me A's :D Long Live Afro Duck!

Hey, that's pretty cool. I've read his books as well.

Do you still have the save?
