I'm not sure why an admin mod is required.

Mani is one of the simplest admin mods I've seen - a simple GUI that allows quick access to admin commands, rather than having to type through RCon. However, at present, no add-ons are on the server as we try and find a cause for server hangs.

We have 4 custom maps on the server, all stay true to the style of the game, rather than weird custom stuff (like PacMan).

The server is having some major issues and continues to crash after a short amount of time. We're looking into the issue to determine if it is due to the Add-Ons that are on the server.

The server is being restarted with no add-ons and only the four custom maps to determine what is causing server hang-ups.

I'm assuming your first suggestion is to add "Roll the Dice" into the server. Such a feature will not be included as it changes game dynamics, which is something we do not want on the server.

Alltalk is already on by default and will be kept on.

A votekick/voteban system is not a bad suggestion and I will look into adding one.

RTD is only for like those odd 'fun' servers where you kick back, relax and watch reality get it in the ass.

RTV is Rock the Vote. If the players dislike the map, and enough people say "!rtv" in the chat, then a Rock the Vote vote will be initiated and will choose a new map, and immediately it'll change to that.

One man's favored add-on is another's hated. If you chose to not play on our server because of an admin mod that will affect your gameplay in no way, that's your choice. But please take your 'vanilla TF2 is better' discussion someplace else - our server runs a few add-ons and this thread is about it.

In other news, it seems that the server has been updated successfully and is avoiding the lag problems it was having last night. Currently, the only custom content on the server are maps - the add-ons may return after the free weekend, to promote server stability.
