Last time, i didn't provide alot of info for you about the mark 1 tank so here you go.
In WW1 1915 Britian was suffering largly from German forces. Germany had unstoppable defenses barbered wire, large trenchs, and heavy weapons like machine and mini guns. To win any battles british soliders toke down the defences and pored through the gaps like a siege, but the methods of breaking through were slow and non-effishent. Britian needed a offensive and unstopable force to get through Germany's defence. An idea popped up in Britian's mind when catipiller tracks were added to supply pulling tractors. A prototype was made called "mother." Able to witstand small-arms fire, and armed with light cannons on the top, left, and right side. When the prototype went into production it was called the Mark 1. When it was a prototype the workers said they were making a moblie water carrier where the name "tank" came from. The Mark 1 went into battle in 1916 and was able to go right through barbered wire, over trenchs, and toke out machine gunists. Britian then started the race for the battle tank.
Details:
Light Cannons: On the top, right, and left side.
Hard Armor: The Mark 1 was able to plow throw defences and witstand small-arms fire, so the tank shouldn't be able to be tacken out by pistol in just 5 shots.
Structure To give you an idea here are pics.
The soilder in one of the pics is not to scale. Here's a link of where I found all of the info.
