Would it be possible to create something like the a wrench, but when you hit a baseplate it selects everything above it so you can name them all, or event them all, or other things.

The Auto wrench!?
[sarcasm]Because the auto-wrench selects everything above a brick I hit...[/sarcasm]

I'm sure it'd be pretty easy to modify the AutoWrench to do this.

Because the auto-wrench selects everything above a brick I hit...
It DOES?
Since when?

So, a wrench with a duplicator-select effect?

That's awesome.

Just like that physics/house demolition that I forgot who did it.. did?

We got the mousefire thing i think...

? Whats the difference they both select everything above the brick. Or do you mean like everthing above the brick but not things that hang over the baseplate? (BTW: never used auto-wrench)

Again...a total lack of patience - Can't you be bothered to do each brick seperately!
Other solutions:

Create one brick of each type you want and name em the same -> Duplicator them and build the building or w/e -> Use events to do setemitter, setname or suchlike

Doing things efficiently is for impatient people. I suppose you don't use cars, you just walk 60 miles when you need to go somewhere.
