Possibly getting a PS3 for Christmas

Yeah, I said it. Fanboiz and flamin' commence. I really want to get a PS3, but it's FIVE HUNNERT N' NINEY NINE YOO ESS DOLLAH. So a console that's $300 seems more reasonable. I have a Wii and I'm just plain tired of it. The only good games on it are Zelda, Mario, Metroid, etc. I pretty much only play GC games on it anyways.

The problem is, I can only think of five games I'd like for the 360.

So I need some recommendations of some good games for the console.

I don't know, but i think the ps3 has much lower ratings(as in alot less M's and such), but thats just what i heard

Um... I'm pretty sure PS3 has just as much if not more. Xbox is more of a user friendly family gaming system, not to say it is a hard core gaming system too. But more adults play PS3 because of it's history. So there are lots of M games there. But don't get me wrong, it's family oriented too with LBP. Anyway, I got both. Both have their own exclusives. But for playing xbox ever since it came out, I'm slowly switching to PS3. It is dragging me in so I would have to say get that. It only does everything

The only reason I'd ever want a PS3 is to play my old Grandia and Final Fantasy Games. Since PS3 doesn't offer backwards compatibility, I don't want one. Plain and simple. I can buy a PS2 for that. Nothing really interests me with a PS3 that I don't already have for xBox. So I'll stick with that for a while.

Good thing I have an older PS3 that is backwards compatible.

I'd say go with the PS3, it has a bunch of good exclusives and runs good. Plus online for it is free.
It's also got a good amount of games rated T and under.
