I only played it like 2 hours and don't like it yet, I know they don't have everything added yet or at least I hope they don't, because it is just a cheap knock-off of CS atm.

Ya only this has something like 256 players on each map and the tactical side is more like commanding an entire army if you have the ability.

Right now it isn't 256vs256, it is like 8v8 in an area and 8v8 in another area etc etc.

I was explaining how you could pull this off with source; Simply have a couple servers going, each with different maps that could potentially be pieced together, then have code that displays stats and whatnot from the other servers to offer the illusion that they're playing just beyond the wall.

You can go to any of these '8vs8 areas', if you really wanted. You just start in a squad of 8 and it doesnt really get bigger than skirmishes until it converges everyone to the same point nearer the end since the map is so big.

No no, You misunderstand it's 128x128. each team is divided into 4 platoons of 32 which each take a quarter of the map. in each platoon there are 4 squads of eight and each squad has a bunker and this is all on one map. If you secure your objective on your platoons part of the map you can go over to the other platoons part of the map and help them out although this isn't recommended because it weakens your platoon. It really is 256 players on each map.

I tried to play the MAG beta once, but I was waiting in the lobby for 5 minutes, so I left and played the Battlefield beta instead.

Also i joined the beta forums and about 12 out of 20 of the topics on the first page are whining about how S.V.E.R. is overpowered. We're just organized and that good in general :3
