If you haven't noticed yet, I am working on a map from Halo 3 known as Valhalla.

If you want to help in any way, please let me know.

Map Variations


Valhalla Canvas:

A blank slate of Valhalla. It has nothing on it.

Valhalla Regular:

The plain old Valhalla.

Valhalla Dogfight Edition:

The plain Valhalla, but there are no towers, and invisible boundaries.

Valhalla Winter:

The plain old Valhalla covered in snow.

Valhalla Night:

The plain old Valhalla at night time.

Possibly build the towers? I mean, it is a game about building... But finally, a good map for CTF that you don't have to build from scratch! It would have been nice to have Blood Gultch, but this is great too.

I plan on releasing a towerless version with this.

Woot! I'll be sure to get them both. As for blocko-less towers. I'm pretty sure you have to make the towers in a modeling program, then export them as .DTS and put them into the level. Maybe try making it in Sketchup?

You have to use Torque Constructor.

Right now, my main problem is having the models collidable. I made just a simple box for exporting tests, and I could just walk right through it. :/


Not a bad start, but remember: If you want the finished product to look even 1/138542 as decent as the real Valhalla, you need nice lighting/skybox.

I have the sun at the right place, but I am still working on the sky box.

Just make it so you have to build the towers.

That way it serves as more than a Deathmatch map

Looks cool. I hope you get it finished. It looks very close to the original, but shouldn't there be more boulders?
