The best I can say is that other road users are crazy, most of the time. Be prepared, but don't be nervous. Your instructor has pedals to control the car in awkward situations, and if they're any good it should show on the first lesson.

Another great helper is to shut your phone off. Completely. Your life or anyone else's life isn't worth that text or call.
