Author Topic: Question About Live Account  (Read 2250 times)

I just registered a Live account under my E-Mail address, and I accidently made a new Gamer Tag. My other tag, the one I wanted live to be connected to, has all of my Gamer Points on it. Is there any way to:
  • Transfer my Gamer Points
OR
  • Change which Tag my Live account is connected to?
Any help will be appreciated. I sent an E-Mail to support, but that takes two days to get back.

Do we look like the Xbox Live help forums? Answer: No
Actually, i do believe you shouldn't have posted at all, dumbass. If you have nothing too say, get out.

Ontopic: I don't know, i havn't heard or seen anyway of doing so.

You can't transfer it.

just recover your old tag? it'll be connected to a different e-mail, but I don't see why that matters... maybe im missing something.

Nope, because microsoft has a major issue with LIVE.  They can't seems to make it decent.

thats a bias

So, is the xbox version halfway decent?

Could you elaborate on this "major issue?"

Well, I one said we aren't help, two said we wouldn't be able to supply a real answer, and three got to be rude, so i had fun, and gave an answer. So I believe you... are the "dumbass"

Judging from the PC version, it's completely broken.  It's taken down my internet TWICE, I can't properly log in most of the time, I require an account to save my loving game, it's point system is just wtf, and the xbox version seems to be filled with ads on the dashboard, if you go 2-3 menus down.

The Xbox version seems to be much better than the PC version. I really don't see what's wrong with the point system, and the ads aren't really that much of a nuisance.

$1.25 for 100 points, it makes no sense.  MS should just raise prices instead of the points.

If the problem with this is you paid for a Gold subscription on a account you didn't want to, you can probably ask around some Xbox forums if you can transfer your payment, I don't know what the refunding is like.

If you can't do that, just play on the new account until the subscription expires.  Sure, you wouldn't be getting any gamerscore added to your actual account, but you wouldn't be wasting it.

I don't know much about this, I'm just trying to be helpful.

Also, how much gamerscore points did you have anyway?  If it's around 10,000 I wouldn't worry about keeping it.  You can easily start over.

windows live is alot worse than xbox live
