Author Topic: Your worst injuries  (Read 6265 times)

On the NWB dedicated Jesterd, Brickman, Harm, Lordy Lord, and myself got into this conversation regarding injuries we have sustained. Some were very interesting so I decided, "Hey, lets here about everyone's worst injuries."

My worst injury happened while playing football. It was raining out so it was very muddy and slippery. I started running backwards, made the catch, and took off full speed down the Field. Somewhere in there I lost my footing and slipped on the mud. I landed on a hidden rock in the ground and managed to severely break my hip. The ball on the end of my leg bone which holds my leg into place actually broke off. It was extremely painful, the worst pain I have ever felt. To give you an idea on how much it hurt, the doctors used 10 straight shots of Morphine(one of the most powerful pain killers in the world), and it did not even dull the pain.

I was taken by ambulance to the hospital. I had to undergo surgery for them to fix the broken bone. After the surgery I was on crutches for 6 weeks. After I got off crutches, I could not play sports, run, jump, or do anything athletic for 9 months. It was extremely difficult as I'm a very actice person.

The doctors said that the broken bone cut off blood flow through the rest of the bone. If I did not get to the hospital fast enough, they say the bone could have died and I could possibly not been able to play any sports for the rest of my life.

I was going to say something about stubbing my toe and it hurting real bad but then I read your thing and decided to write this instead.

I went to crack my neck and I pulled something.

Hurt for 2 days.

So you were going to say something about stubbing your toe, you read this so you decided to post about how you don't want to talk about your stubbed toe.

A broken heart. I broke my arm and they put the cast on the wrong arm :P

Oh, one time I drove a sled into a metal pole of monkey bars and my sister broke her leg. Well, it was technically me that broke her leg. ha :P

Almost.  I decided to post about how I was going to say something about stubbing my toe.

(All trolling aside, I feel really sorry for you, Destroyer)

I just threw up in my mouth again.

And double posted, I thought I was editing, very sorry.

I had a needle or something slip into my skull when I was 1, I had to go to the hospital  :cookieMonster:

Only thing I can remember is a had pulled a muscle in my neck and could sit/stand for 3 days

Broke my arm whilst playing basketball with some friends. It got shattered in one part of the bone and I had to undergo surgery. Plus two metal pins were placed in my arm as well, I also got a cast. Three weeks later the cast got taken off and then they sprayed my arm with this really cold spray to dull pain, and then they pulled the pins out. Not to mention I was awake when they did it.

If I remember right I jumped into a window when I was 3, had to get stitches.  Other than that, I don't think I've really had any major injuries.

I broke my finger.
Barely felt it.

I've had a good life.

Mines better, i never broke anything.
Having nothing to do with things outside my house pays off!

I still have a large scar where an exactoknife went through my finger, I got my other finger sliced by my butterfly knife. I've bashed my jaw a few good times, last time that happened: I ate stuff after my bike threw me off the handlebars. Went to the ER and got stitches.

Yay for not having a life!
