Anyone play grand theft auto San Andreas? Probably most of you, but i love cars and i love the realistic car crashes.  anyone know any info about GTA 4? i cant play it.   :-(

I bought it and hated it. It's slow (gameplay wise), everything is gray, brown, or too dark to see. Rockstar got rid of more stuff than they added. It's basically a generic third person shooter with sandbox elements tacked on.

San Andreas was far better, in my opinion. Or Saint's Row 2, if you exclude the stuffty PC port

Rockstar got rid of more stuff than they added The stuff that they have looks great. They probably didn't want to delay the game release by like a 6 months. To add a bunch of useless stuff

They added a phone system which is annoying beyond belief and so-so multiplayer, and made it run worse on computers.

Moreso for this game, because they removed all the little things that made San Andreas so great, like having side missions that are actually fun.
