Author Topic: Games that make you want to scream in frustration  (Read 13095 times)

Ever played a game that even after numerous tries, you can't beat that one level? The one that's really long and has no checkpoints, or the one where if you make one error you lose and have to restart? The one where you strategically move your player, but realize you forgot something and have to go all the way back to get it? The ones where you just want to scream at the top of your lungs?!

Discuss those here.

I'm currently playing Osmos, a "eat or be eaten" game, and there's a group of levels where you have to navigate very slowly, and bumping into any of the massive things around you kills you, and you have to move around in a certain way using only a little bit of "fuel" (propelling yourself makes you smaller). If I make one small misjudgment in propelling myself (you shoot mass to propel yourself, and that mass bumps into other masses and makes them grow), it sets off a chain reaction, making one mass absorb another mass until it takes up the whole screen and it's impossible to win. >:(

Ratings represent not just appropriateness, but skill-level too.

Okay?

So are you saying that I'm stupid for not being able to beat this game or are you saying I'm too young to be playing it?

Or are you just stating a random fact on the subject?

Osmos, Goo Splat, and Prototype.

Guitar Hero
I'm a perfectionest at it, if I miss 1 note I restart the song and go for 100%
after a few times yelling at the guitar hero tournement score boards

Wait what.
Its hard to die, the missions are easy, you are practically bullet-proof and you get to disguise as people.

Yes, Guitar Hero can get really annoying too.

So can Cave Story in Hell.

Forgot, Modern Warfare 2
I always get killed before my care package asdf

mm, gotta love those nintendo hard games. Sonic 3 has been giving me some grief lately but thats becuase I suck.

TURTLES IN TIME.
definitely nintendo hard.

Final boss fight, only 1 OP weapon is useful.

Here's what I'm up against, the bright blue ball is me, I can absorb anything blue, anything red eats me, and anything green eats away at both of us at a nearly equal rate. My mission is to become the biggest

My only option is to try to push some bigger ones aside without having them get absorbed by anything that could overtake the screen
