It's the same thing with a different top.

Integrated Graphics card(Can barely run counter-strike and HL2, less than 8 or 10 fps).
Integrated sound card(can't record sound from it).
Intel Pentuim 4 3.0 GHz
Well I guess I do beat you (not by much). I can run Counter strike at about 30-40fps and Hl2 at like 20fps. You do have a faster processor though. I have a 2.8ghz Pentium 4.

Why only a 300gb Harddrive?

Because I only use 1TB, duh.  :p

So wait, is a sound card essential for gaming?

Only if you don't want to hear anything.  :p

Unless you plan to overclock, the stock heatsink should be fine

That's why I got a third-party heatsink, because I don't plan to overclock at all.  :p

That is a great graphics card, jus' saying he could run SLi or CF cheaper and probably better

Wrong.  The 5970 is essentially two 5870s in one card for $600.  Having two actual 5870s in Crossfire costs $800.

So, are you going to use this computer to learn biology or what?

No, I'm gonna play CoD4, Bad Company 2, Dirt 2, as well as some Steam games, on it.

GPU: XFX, no. nonono. Get an EVGA nVidia card (not sure if EVGA does ATi, but XFX is baaaad.)

That's stupid.  XFX is on par with EVGA easily.  And what's this bullstuff with nvidia.  ATI currently sells the most powerful GPU's on the market.

Well, technically, I am going to learn biology on it, as my biology course requires you to look at some video on a CD they supply every now and then.

I'm finally getting a new PC.  My current PC is a Pentium 4 3.2GHz with a Geforce 7600 GT.  Talk about suck.

This is the new one I'm getting, going to build it.

Woot!  Feel free to rate and comment.

I've had the HAF 932 for almost a year now and I have to say it is a decision I regret. If all that matters is interior space and cooling then it is a perfect choice (those were my thoughts at the time). Unfortunately, I have come to dislike the appearance of the case, the size, and the weight of it. Moving it to college was difficult, and it is too expensive to ship home for the holidays (with the monitor it would have cost me over $200 for each trip). It takes up lots of room and the fans can be audible if you have it on the desk next to you. The brushed-aluminum look is what appeals to me now but it can be costly. Cooler Master makes plenty of great mid-tower cases as do other manufacturers.

All of the other choices are sound except the Velociraptor HDD. If the speed matters that much that you are willing to pay extra for it, you may as well purchase one of the many solid state drives that are available. No noise, no vibration, little heat, quite fast.

Well, technically, I am going to learn biology on it, as my biology course requires you to look at some video on a CD they supply every now and then.
Not that kind.

Just think, with that GPU, you could run biology videos as if they were real.

why are you getting a PC when you can get a MAC
