How dare this word be added to dictionaries. It's a pain to hear. Contractions combine words while removing a letter. For example, "has not" becomes "hasn't." It it clearly "has" and "not" combined with the "o" replaced with an apostrophe. What does "ain't" mean in a technical standpoint?
It is a "word" that is used in place of "am not", "is not", "are not", "has not", or "have not." This does not make sense.
