Author Topic: Will I lag in MW2 and Oblivion?  (Read 2763 times)

"Can you run it?" says that I can run mw2 and oblivion no problem :)
Well not no problem, but it still runs decently for an old computer.

Then that site doesn't work very well.  Your card is clearly below the minimum requirement for MW2.

I think you need to accept that your wrong. "Can you run it" works.
EDIT: I'm getting a new graphics card soon anyway C: I have an ancient XPS

Yay

Holy stuff, you're completely handicapped.  The LE means "Light Edition", so it's not even as good as a normal card.  It's a terrible card and will not run these games very well on low.  I googled your card + those games in an effort to help you.  Some people have had success running it at all the lowest settings.  But they all had dual cores clocked at 3.0 GHz, and still had massive lag spikes when running around outside in Oblivion.  I'm telling you right now, to save you money, don't buy those games until you have a better card.

You're no doubt going to ignore me.  Despite the fact that I posted all relevant information showing that your card isn't nearly as good as the minimum required card.

Good luck.

I hear you. I know LE is a worse version. I'm also showing you that picture above your post. Your insults aren't making any impression on me whatsoever. It doesn't matter anyways because I'm getting an upgrade very soon. Calm down. Breathe. I understand that your trying to help and I know you feel frustrated, as I have felt like that many times.

Alright so your graphics card lacks the speeds it should have but it has plenty of VRAM.  Unfortunately VRAM isn't very important once you've met the requirement.  You have a passing CPU, but not by much.  RAM is fine.  Your free disc space is going to slow you down, and you won't be able to have both Oblivion and MW2 installed.

I don't trust that website because it would probably give my GPU the same rating as yours, when mine is an 8600M GT (laptop).  Not to mention it gave your computer a rating so far above minimum.  Your computer definitely won't run those games fast.

I already knew about the disc space thing, but it will still run faster than you originally predicted, correct?

I wish there was a demo I could try.
Oh well, at least it can still run ok, and im getting an upgrade soon.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOO :saddowns:

You must have other problems with your computer then.

Heheh, no.  Barely running, meaning it's playable with everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) on "low" or "off".

Face it, the 7300 LE sucks.  The "can you run it" doesn't take clock speeds into account.  You are screwed, very sorry to say.
