I wish there was a gravity gun that could pick up regular bricks. :cookie:

You would need the change the engine or turn a brick into a vehicle but building with that would be very hard.

As far as I know this is not possible.

You would need the change the engine or turn a brick into a vehicle but building with that would be very hard.
It would be nearly impossible.

It would require a whole different engine, or a brick vehicle where one could fit inside of another.

Wait, so you guys are saying that in order to move bricks around like this, the bricks would have to be vehicles? So are you saying that fake-killed bricks are vehicles?

They're NOT.

Where the hell did that come from?

Fake killed bricks move very differently from vehicles, and if you can't see that, you are BLIND.

I was simply making a point.
If we can move fake-killed bricks around by kicking them, and they aren't vehicles, why couldn't we move them with a gun?

Physics bricks = Client sided. It wouldnt work without a huge change.

It'd be cool if when not using a tool, clicking would pick up a physics brick in front of you and let you move it around until you use a weapon or click again. It could be handled mostly client-side: The server just sends "X tried to pick up a physics brick" to everyone, each client copy does a ray-test for a physics brick in front of that player's view and if so makes it hover in front of them until dropped. If the physics simulations are different from one client to the other by a large amount then it just wouldn't pick up anything.

I wish you could pick up players with it.

I don't think it's possible to lift a brick. But I do think that the gravity gun should be able to pick up players. This would be cool and un-abuseable at the same time. You can lift up players who have trust with you. I'm sure this would be possible. I've seen Fooly Fun Commands do it when you want to mount onto a players body part. <_< :/. Who thinks it is a good idea? :D

I wish you could pick up players with it.
Truce has a something similar to that. You can pick up the person and throw them:).

Picking up players made their view jerk around a lot and be very disorientating due to client-side physics prediction. Forcing spy-cam on the player (as Truce's did) means they can't actually resist being picked up or fire back...
