When I was little and had silver version, I thought I could make a shiny Magikrap when I bred the shiny Gyarados. Got about 40 eggs. It didn't work.

Mudkip is extremely cheap because when it evolves it becomes a water/ground, immune to electric.

Totodile is a dumbass water starter, with no Special buffer, and his main means of attack is based on the primary attack stat, using water moves would causes minimal damage. He was one to waste the Hyper beam TM on.
