Global warming is a lie, I live in Louisiana, we get snow about every ten years, but it has snowed for the past two years. Post your opinion. (First intelligent topic FTW)

Global warming is most certainly not a lie. It has been known for ages that carbon dioxide traps heat, this is not new information. Sure, nature itself contributes greatly to the problem, with volcanic eruptions and such, during which massive amounts of CO2 are released, but humans also contribute greatly to the issue, over a larger amount of time. Holes in the ozone layer do not appear magically. Acid rain is not called "acid rain" for no reason. I guarantee you, almost every city in the U.S., you look out over the horizon, you'll see a hazy brownish line suspended over the city. This is pollution. Pollution massively affects not only the climate, but peoples' lifestyles and health. If we don't get our asses on the line here and start taking more action to reduce CO2/pollution levels, something catastrophically detrimental is going to occur.

It snowed in Arizona when i was little like 6 or 5 about two or three time's.

Global Warming is a term for a bunch of things related to the heating of the earth over periods of time.

i dunno man, summers not so hot anymore.

when we all start dying from our polar ice caps melting, then i'll believe your global warming

Global warming is like evolution, it doesn't just happen.
There are holes in the ozone layer, but we can't stop the ones above antartica.

Antartica lacks plants
so it lacks oxygen
and the ozone layer needs oxygen
so boom holes.
Or so my teacher says, due note I live in a state where animal abuse is just a misdemeaner

They've been calling it climate change rather than global warming. Which I would agree with. We had a messed up summer where I live.

Someone's trying to start something?

Our polar ice caps are already melting, this is no longer a theory, it is a fact. Take Venice, Italy for instance. It's going to be underwater in a matter of years. Its water levels have already risen about a foot.

Edit: I just realized this is a fairly ambiguous topic title.

he meant it doesnt just happen out of nowhere. it takes time and certain things to make it happen

Yeah, I know. I just figure if someone sees the word evolution they will start a stuff storm.

It isnt called "Global warming" It's called "Climate change"
The world isnt just heating up, in some places it's getting colder, wetter, dryer, all those things

I live in Finland (one of EU's northern countries)and We've had much less snow in the past years. Now It's snowing well, but a lot less than before still.

I say its all natural,we're just making it go a tiny bit faster.

Once that happens fresh water and salt water will mix together interrupting the natural weather balance causing an ice age. Our planet will freeze over and this whole thing will start over again.
