I actually do. If you watched any of the shows I did growing up, you'd see this junk was far inferior and held no contest to the sheer awesomeness of 80s-90s cartoons.

Well a 13 episode show based on a manga obviously wont have major character and plot development. I think they're working on another season anyway.

All I did was agree with Syntho that I liked K-on. Sure, you have the right to your opinion, but it was a bit uncalled for. Save for Syntho flipping out, which he shouldn't have done. All I'm saying is if you don't like something, that's fine. But don't ruin it for other people I guess. And as for this:

I apologize. I shouldn't really have said that. I guess I was just a bit sore because somebody spoke out against something I really like. Let's just all agree to like different things.

PROTIP: K-ON is a comedic anime. If you think it has to have a developed plot, just look at mainstream humor and say that again.

K-ON is one of my favorites, but I also like Lucky Star and Azumanga Daioh for the same reasons. One of my preferred more serious animes is Haruhi Suzumiya because of the plot.

To believe that everything that's designed to make you laugh has to have a well defined plot is, frankly, a stupid opinion. The show even has jokes based on its repetitive plot.
