Author Topic: New "Server-mode"?  (Read 1018 times)

Well, I was just thinking that to make the game a little bit more realistic/interesting in a way, default player could be a no-jet player, and admins get jets. Building would then require scaffolding. It would create a fun building experience. WITHOUT A MINIGAME

Note: This is a suggestion of an OPTION

We do have a no-jet player and the admin room if any could have a standard player type button.

Problem Solved.

I agree with the entire OP. This is a good idea and as stated, would create a good building experience.

Step 1: Download and enable Mandatory Minigame.
Step 2: Start a Server.
Step 3: Create minigame with no jets and make it mandatory.
Step 4: ???
Step 5: Profit.

What if I don't want a minigame?

Because that's how Blockland is meant to be played. Not in a minigame.

Minigames are simply side-options.

T.T Intelligent blocklanders can make little bricks, and event them
Code: [Select]
onActivate -> Player -> Changedatablock [Standard Player]

I think it would be cool if Badspot would incorporate into the server options a "Default Playertype" option. This would make it so that mini-games won't have to be active all the time.

Intelligent blocklanders can understand what my suggestion is.

why can't you just have a minigame... it's easy enough, and disable eventing for more fun
