We did it with the Gravity Jeep, I'm almost positive we can do it with a Datablock player.

´hum... sounds useful if someone makes it!

You know, the gravity jeep is a vehicle and the porblem is, players aren't.

Vehicles seem to like being thrown around while the playertypes don't like that.

Okay, from what I've seen, the reason that this wasn't done the other 10 or so times that I've seen it suggested was that players simply do not turn like that. In order for you to actually have this effect (without awkwardly crawling on the wall) is to create a new model for your player that is sideways and upside down. That's only two models, but actually having the models change to match your player (we don't want you to change to standard bot when you rotate) seems like it would be difficult. Of course, this prevents the possibility of having you gradually shift to sideways as the video does, as that would require a significantly larger number of models. There is, on the other hand, the possibility of using a tumble-player thingy to turn them like that, but that seems like it would be rather glitchy, as the tumble itself isn't that great. So, basically, I think it's possible, but it would be difficult.

tl;dr: It's going to very difficult to do.

Playermodel into vehicle anyone?

Playermodel into vehicle anyone?
Could the vehicle be made to look like the player?

Skis.

In any case, it IS possible. Whether it's an Item like the skis or whatever. Tough, yes. But still possible.
At any rate whatsoever, I am willing to help as much as I can if anyone else would like to join me on my quest
to conquer this massive obstacle. We shall dub ourselves the Fellowship of the Gravity Player.

Anyone want to join?

Good to see we're getting somewhere

I asked for this a while ago, but rather than the player itself, make them vehicles that go on like boots.

InB4GravityPlayerNotAmused.

Using the Skis vehicle would mean you can't turn on the spot.

I don't think it's possible :\ The only time a player's feet would ever stray from facing downwards were when you crashed, were tazed, or in a vehicle.

Gravity Boots as an item, which acts like the skis?

just make it so you put on boots, which act like the Gravity Jeep, but as a playertype.
