Are you sure you read the RAM correctly?
I'm pretty sure, I read it from the Memory section.

Before you buy any ram, make sure it's compatible with your computer. I don't know how to do that, but I think there's a website that can do it.
How much would 3GBs of RAM cost?

Post a screenshot of the window. I still don't see how you can have that low RAM; the minimum requirements for Windows 7 is 1 GB for 32 bit and 2 GB for 64 bit.

Depends. Use this to see what ram your computer can use, and it'll give you prices.

Yeah, you'll probably need around 2gb of ram. Don't expect the gameplay to be that great since your processor just hits the minimun. You might need a new graphics card too.

My processor is under L4d2 minimum, yet i play, no lag at all.

Okay, so, it has 768MB RAM, and an Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz Proccesor, can that run L4D?
I challenge your 768MB RAM And raise it for my 3GB RAM.

I call your 3GB of RAM and raise it to 8GB ddr2 @1066mhz.

I tried print screening it, but what is the picture called when I try to upload it.

Do even use 100% of that at any given time?

NOTE: Only getting 17 FPS in Gmod because it's not the active window.

The processor is loving great.

How ever, you need more ramsz

WRONG
I used the EXACT SAME Pentium 4 3.0 GHz for years alongside 2 GB DDR2-800 MHz RAM and a GeForce 8800 GT.
I got 20-30 FPS in Left 4 Dead.
When I upgraded the Processor to a Core 2 Duo 2.8 GHz (nothing else changed), I got over 100 FPS at all times.

How does

Duo > Quad?

There is something fishy here.

Pentium 4 processors are single-core....

For forgets sakes Rex, no one gives a stuff about how much money you dropped into your PC. In every thread about computers you gloat about having this much ram, or that many video cards. Stop it.  :panda:
