I was thinking about this when I was playing MP: Trilogy.

Would you think that a game like this would be a good idea? I don't know a lot about copyrighting other games so I wouldn't think of this as um, "illegal".

Absolovinglutely. If you can get Metroid Prime 1 and play it on a gamecube instead of the Wii version, DO IT! That game is probably my favorite console game ever, it's just so good.

Mmm. That would ruin it for me.

Also, absolutely try to get the original release of MP1. There was so much stuff they did to try and thwart sequence breakers in the collector's edition, I can't imagine what they did to mutilate it for the trilogy thing on the Wii.

Part of the fun in MP1 is that you could break sequence (do stuff like get the plasma beam before you had half the stuff you needed to get the 'correct' way) with some clever jumping and a little bit of glitch abusing.

I like the part before the final boss. Where the red Phazon is. The part where you had to look for the 12 artifacts was kinda annoying though.
