So I got a Dedi server working at my house.

How can I get the server to stay up without being on my computer?

Or buy a remote server to host on either web or another computer that way you can have a server up 24/7 without leaving your computer primary on.

How do some of the servers I see listed always be up then, do they host it somewhere? Because I wouldnt want to leave my computer on 24/7

They leave their computer on or they pay 50$ a month for a server.

That's a rare occurrence. I've only seen Badspot and Hephaestus do that.

Your computer is free. But those companys that run servers for other people cost a lot of cash for the company to run. Bandwidth, space, power.
