Well ofcourse you can go for a 5970 instead, but the ATi 5xxx series are brand new, the 295 is almost a year old if it isn't older.

So that won't be outdated, but will the price drop, because +$600 seems like alot.

Oh it's that expensive? Just go for a 5870 then, they wont be outdated by the end of 2010.

So how well will the computer run after I get this video card?

With 2.66 Core 2 Quad, 4GB RAM and the right power supply you'll be A-okay. If you get an SLI-capable motherboard and power supply you can then buy another 5870 in the future and double your power.

Get two 9800 GT's and SLI that stuff. :)

I guess I will get a 5870.

So if I get all this stuff, what will my fps be about in... Crysis?

That'd be good, but eventually that'd be outdated faster.

We don't know. Ask someone who has a 2.66 GHz quad core, 4GB RAM, and a 5870.

Ok, I thought you guys just might have an estimation.

Whatever, thanks.

You should be able to somewhat max crysis, depending on your resolution.

lol no

one GTS250 OC beats the stuff out of SLI'd 9800.
Besides, lots of games like WoW don't support SLI.

I don't want no loving WoW.

My resolution is really tiny, because a small monitor. The max is 1280x1024.

Not just wow.
Anyways...

Get Nvidia :3

Now, why would I want Nvidia, when there is a perfectly good 5870 out there somewhere.

Because ATI is for wowcigarettes
