Do you want me to post the list of all the Choco Artifact locations, or do you want to spend hours finding them yourself?

Author Topic: Metroid Prime Trilogy  (Read 3101 times)

So I already have all 3 Primes, doesn't mean I can't have the Trilogy.

I got the Metroid Prime Trilogy for Christmas, and it's fun. I'm not really expecting anything new in the gameplay, but it's fun to play the first and second Primes with the Wii motion control. I started on the first Prime and I'm already at Phendrana Drifts, about to get the Super Missle.

And you can even play multiplayer from Metroid Prime 2, also with the Wii motion control.

So discuss the MPT here and stuff.

have 1st and 2nd ones. playing 1st one now. fighting that one big rock-thing boss right now in pendora drifts. liking metroid so far.

You mean Thardus. (A.K.A. Thardumb)

yeah, sure. whatever. pain in the butt fighting it; having to blast away at each part. any pointers?

What I do is just turn on the Thermal Visor for weak points, blast at it with anything but missles, and when it malfunctions your Thermal Visor, blast it away with Super Missles.

keep forgetting about super missiles. regular or wave beam, which works best?

Wave. Almost anything outclasses power beam.

Wave Beam because:

A. When you lock on to something, the Wave Beam homes the target. The Power Beam doesn't.

B. It does more damage.

thought so. *goes back to play some moar*

Do me a favor and see how much sequence breaking you can do w/ MP1 on your little trilogy majig.

Seriously though, I can only imagine how much they ruined that game by taking away all the sequence breaking opportunities.

what do you get after defeating thardus?

Spiderball.

makes it really hard when it makes it all foggy. can't see its attacks. ended up dying :/

I like that free demo one you got when you bought the first DS
good times

Just about to fight Thardus. Wish me luck with the new Beam/Visor switching controls...
