Author Topic: NO, forget, I FORGOT TO SAVE  (Read 2639 times)

AGHHHHHHH!
I hate doing this!

Now I have to redo the last level of the spirit tower, fight with byrne and the sand temple ALL OVER AGAIN because I forgot to save and quit on Spirit Tracks.

That's like 2 hours of work gone.

anyone else ever completely forgeted themselves over because of this too?
on phantom hourglass i beat the game almost (last boss) and my battery died, went back to god damned Blaiz boss... the first one... :(

Welp, managed to get back through the sand temple (It's a lot easier when you know where to go :P), so now I'm back on track.

Animal crossing, anyone? You forgot to save and then you get a conversation with resetti that takes longer then 15minutes. -_-

the game makes you save though(unless you turn it off but thats a duh)

they've pretty much rung the series dry.

they make the powers of legendaries progressively greater (IE: Rainbows/Whirlpools -> Sunlight/Rain)

And they've made a 'God' pokemon, so I don't know where they go from here.

They're releasing the biggest handheld pokemon game and remake from Gold and Silver(which I believe were the best series of pokemon games), so we should be happy.

This has happened way too many times for me. Mainly on Pokemon games, but occasionaly on other stuff too.
If I'm playing Spore and recieve a Skype message, Spore glitches and crashes, and being the tard I am, I've managed to get to the Space Stage from the Creature Stage without saving. ...You'd think that it would atleast promt you to save on either a timer, or when you pass through a Stage. :/

You think thats bad?

Try playing castlevenia portrait of ruin and get to the part you fight death, and after you get rappppeeed about 300 times and then beat him get pissed off and skip the conversation and get your saved corrupted.

Thats loving 6 hours of gaming down the trash.

My computer crashes if I go that long without saving.

I never tried doing that...

GTA SA is a deathtrap if you dont save.
Especially if you spent all your money on guns

Especially all the PSP gtas. I couldn't beat Liberty City Stories without cheats.

Any developer that doesn't put an autosave feature should gtfo
This can be a bad feature in itself. In Dragon Age Origins, I had to restart a character of 18 hours of play because it autosaved on a boss attacking me that I was too weak to fight. No alt saves or anything. Just had to boof it from scratch because every time it loaded, The advanced rage demon and it's little auto heal party would gank me the second it loaded and the game doesn't allow you to escape through doors to avoid it.

If my computers having a good day, usually it can go that long with minor lag. However, I have most of the settings down to their lowest.
If I'm lucky, I can just about get through that many stages in a single playthrough, but then I tend to just go straight in and don't focus on allying much or searching for extra items. Most of those creatures I've done this on don't have arms either. Weird.
