You don't know me then do you. :)

You don't know me then do you. :)

You're socially deprived.

Are you going to keep pulling out that excuse?

Are you going to keep pulling out that excuse?

It is not an excuse, it is a fact.

If you went to public schools you would learn what paragraphs are.
Talking like this is not a good way to get your point across.
I lol'd, your dad is home employed, which is kind of funny (Making home money, lol).

How would know you would do worse in public schools when you haven't tried them? Maybe if you had teacher your workload would be more manageable.

Some homeschoolers are.

I just happen to be part of the category thats not.

Does Inv3rted look unsocial to you?

I know what paragraphs are and i can use them when i see it necessary.
Perhaps i am being a little quick to judge public schooling just like Fateful saint is to home schooling.

Now, answer my questions.

First of all, I spend 7 - 8 hours a day in a school full of 500 kids. I am forced to work with my peers, while you can work alone with minimal social interactions. While you may be able to travel around, other children who are home schooled may not be as wealthy as you (Probably the reason they are home schooled). We who go to public school have things such as due-dates for assignments, period/ class switches, teach us how to be organized. When you are home schooled you will always have your teacher there, while our teachers have to tend to 20 - 30 kids and make sure all of them know what they are doing. I have to make sure I understand what I am doing.

I will judge whoever I want. You can't do anything about it, I will not do any homeschooling because I would not want to waste my time.

I'd like to mention that while my parents buy my books, I spend most of my time teaching myself. My mom's got her hands full with my youngest brother, so getting an education is my own responsibility.

Also, that "learning organization" thing is crap. It truly is. I've been homeschooled all my life, and when I went to camp last summer, I walked around with my peers throughout the college campus in which we were staying in order for us to get from class to class. Whoever needs to be taught how to do that will find school difficult, homeschooled or not.

I will agree with you over one point, though. Being homeschooled deprives you of social interaction. However, it doesn't render one socially incapable. I went to a high school party and ended up meeting almost every single person in the room; having, at minimum, a small conversation with each.

In the end, I don't care whether someone is homeschooled or schooled by the government. However, I despise comments about one's schooling system being superior to another.

If you went to public schools you would learn what paragraphs are.

May i remind you it is only true for certain home schoolers being deprived of social interaction.

What everyone else is saying is that homeschooling has no variety and that we are all unsocial robots.
