Author Topic: Night vision  (Read 1984 times)

He asked for Night Vision (In the title) so I gave him night vision. (that I didn't make).

A night vision mod that works as a client side mod set a key use it in-game and you can see in the dark.

I said THAT HELPS YOU SEE in the dark not make a eyesore

I gave you a link. Wait for a scripter to make this. Plus, I does help you see in the dark, especially if you change the color like I did. ;D

That colour would be?

*twitch*i....*twitch*i can't really fix that thing. The only thing left for me to try would be to use that but add an emitter. But that'd probably blind ya.

I realize that this add-on was posted two days after this topic was started, but just so people know, there IS a night vision mod. Link to add-on topic HERE----->http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=95493.0

I'm about to make it less transparent... Didnt think of it to begin with.....

It. didnt take to the color change.
failure!!!

Is it possible to make a light only the user can see not what i hoped but its better than nothing.

Client-side, maybe. but it'd be... annoying to try to script that stuff. i'm just a early beginner self taught.

Good luck.
And please, whatever you do, dont make it serversideClientside, because i doesn't want any cheaters in dark DM's ect.
And i'm pretty shure that there are others that think like me too.

Why not serverside? When it's serversided, anyone on the server can use it. Client-sided, you can use it on any server. Plus, you can disable it if it's serversided.
