GMod Downloading/Extracting Help

Beforehand: I know I've been doing it wrong (ur doin' it rong). I download the .zip to garrysmod/addons, and R-Click -> Extract here, then R-Click -> Extract to [name]. I don't know where to extract vehicles, NPC's, and SENTs. Can you tell me where to extract everything, not just what I've listed? Thanks a bunch.

Uhh, i used to suffer with this, now i put the folder in my add ons go into it and copy lua files to the garrysmod lua folder, so on and so forth. What i mean is open the folder match the names it is that simple. It took me forever to firgure it out but now it works all the time for me.
