The British Army no longer use the L85A1 due it to jamming alot (It isn't practical for combat use) they now use the SA80A2 or the SA80A3 they are slightly modified versions of the L85A1 right now the L85A1 is being used as a Cadet GP Rifle (GP= General Purpose) which is soon to be replaced with the SA80A2.
