Author Topic: Do YOU believe in God?  (Read 23458 times)

Like the morals of blind obeying of authority (such as a god)?

Or the old testament morals of stoning anyone who commits any sort of wrong?

Or the morals of jealousy that being close to god would entail?

The bible was intended to convert and control jews and pagans, and it's gotten way out of hand since.

No one can explain life after death.
Have you heard of "Near Death Experiences"?

It's simply a matter of googling it.

The dad of a friend of mine died twice but he was able to get back to life both times and both times we asked him what and how it was and he told us that it was just like sleeping. "Pure black and of all sudden you wake up and wonder what time it is right now."

Two hours of nothingness.

Since you already started this arguement and went beyond I would like to bring up something on my mind.

What if Christians are right? What if Athiests are wrong? Who will lose more?

When you're a Christian you don't need to worry.

You can call it what you want but if Christians are right, Athiests will lose more, and if Athiests are right, I don't think there is much loss.

Doesn't affect me in the least.
