Author Topic: Modelers Needed (You will be payed!)  (Read 47456 times)

... No, I do not have A.D.D or A.D.H.D or anything like that. Although, I do understand what you are saying. But, bringing faulty evidence into a case is illegal. You're going to need to learn this if you want to be a lawyer. (Like me ;D)
But the thing is, wither it was a tommy gun or not doesn't matter.
I WAS SIMPLY SAYING THAT YOUR MODEL SUCKED.

I DON'T CARE A RAT'S ASS IF IT'S A DUCK, A SNAIL, A BOAT, OR A GUN.

You're a stuffty lawyer. Considering you're ten.
By ten, you should already be out of law school.

:o Pandan Rage.

Jesus do you have anything better to say than that?
Gtfo.

No, I was just suprised.

Whoa, let it go. Do you have a grudge against him or something?

Here's an image of what I have so far.
I think I made it a little too complicated.

Holy stuff. I don't even know where to begin my criticism.

Smooth the handle out, IMO.

Smooth the handle out, IMO.
The flat shading really sticks out.

So it sucks?
This is a work in progress.

It's good to see you've finally got your head around shading.

Well by the looks of things, I think you should just start from scratch. You're getting the face triangulation all wrong. Why does it even have holes in the side? If you're trying to give the effect of bolts in the side of the gun, use different objects (That way you won't have to build your faces AROUND them).

Yea, Create an object that is well, a bolt of the right size, with no back. Then duplicate, and put in the correct places and viola! A nice looking (hopefully) bolted gun.

That's what I was going to do. I'm not finished. I don't want to just put a bolt on there. Then it just looks like there is a cylinder sticking out of a place where it shouldn't be. I actually want it to look like it's inside the handle without it covering over the bolt.
I made this vertex by vertex, and I assure you, once I actually flat shade it, it will look more smooth.

I'm sorry, but I'm getting this "hotshot" vibe from you.
Just because you have 3ds doesn't make you the master of everything.

Azerath isn't done.

If you're saying that my methods are wrong, feel free to argue that point. If he's using milkshape I wouldn't recommend triangulating faces around a hexagon. Again, feel free to argue that point. However don't make potshots without something to back yourself up.

I'm not saying that I'm the master of everything, and I more then likely never will. Regardless of your silly assumptions, we'll find out how he goes once he shows us the finished product. If you want to continue arguing with me, feel free to pm me. I don't want this to take up another 3 pages.

Edit: Also keep in mind that you were the one who pursued the argument with pi about shading. So please reconsider your own behavior before calling out mine.

I'm not arguing with you.

I said azerath isn't done.
Period.

If you think he's done, then it's a argument.
