XP>Vista/7

Have fun finding hardware and drivers that support XP anymore.

In my opinion, 7>XP>Vista.

In my opinion, 7>XP>Vista.

Your opinion is correct.
Err, in my opinion... -_-

I will.

You're an idiot.

How so?

I will.

How so?

XP is inferior to Vista and 7. There is no demonstrable advantage; just prejudice against anything new.

HAHAH, YES
WE HAVE DISCOVERED THE PROBLEM
O HOLY SWEET JESUS

Ahem *Clears throat* The BIOS on the motherboard.

The person to blame is either me, or Stardock. They recently released BootSkin Vista, which modifies your Boot up screen to anything you like. I got a nice field and added that. That seems to be exactly when I started getting problems.

BootSkin modifies the BIOS on the motherboard to change your bootup screen. Now, because of Stardock/me, I can't even run the computer, it's just a blank screen.

I'm going to go with my dad to Canada Computers (CANADIA!) and see if they can do anything for me. I cannot flash my BIOS to reset it because I can't even access the BIOS menu. Basically, I'll just replace my BIOS chip, if it works, and then maybe wipe my HD - If I need to.

You don't like Vista because modern science is a conspiracy.

You you used Vista as a scapegoat even though it wasn't even close to being the problem.

Nice.

This happened to my friend's new Asus laptop today. Is your name dan? :\

I'm pretty sure it's Mack.

Nobody complains about Leopard, or ESPECIALLY Snow Leopard (I need Snow Leopard, come to think of it) being extremely bug ridden. Macs c:
Because they're stuffty overpriced computers that nobody (important) uses because they're stuffty overpriced computers.

Can't access anything.

This happens, especially when I've never had problems like this for a good five years now.

I've never had hardware problems; I've never switched anything and its been fine up until now.

Also, it can't be a hardware problem. The BSoD error was "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA". Everywhere I've researched says it was a file problem.

I've had hardware go kaput with no warning at all; one of my hard drives broke and was BSODing my computer when it was plugged in, and my video card broke and turned everything a shade of blue.
