I have a great interest in astronomy, and I'd just like to know the forum's view on the demotion of Pluto.

Wasn't it demoted to some kind of asteroid then? O_o

Dwarf Planet*

The sequel to Dwarf Fortress. Holy stuff guys, I see this happening :D

PLUTO IS A PLANET >:C

I blame the brits.

I thought they already decided to call it a "Dwarf Planet". I grew up knowing it as the ninth planet.

I really don't mind how things are named or classified, it still exists. They could rename it something like "Bungalow" and call it a "magical flying rock" it wouldn't matter to me.

Yes. We be very sneaky.

Do research, and you'll see the demotion was totally justified.

Take that, midget planet!

But the plutonians will invade us and have butt love with us and then eat our balls and steal our Girlfriends!

Tom

From what I heard, they would have had to classy 3 large astroids as planets if they had kept Pluto as one. classification systems are useless if you start putting stuff into the wrong classification.

Our moon is bigger than it, I think the action was just.

I'm pretty sure it is more than 3, correct me if I'm wrong.
